Natalie Berkman is a first-year apprentice through the Quivira Coalition's New Agrarian Program. She is apprenticing with Bill and Dana Milton on the Milton Ranch in Roundup, Montana. Natalie grew up in Washington, DC, and moved to Colorado for college, where she became grounded in agriculture and rural communities. She spent a few years working on and managing small-scale vegetable farms before moving from Gunnison, CO to Montana in 2019. She made the switch from growing turnips to growing beef and feels like she has finally found her home on Montana's rangelands.
