WATCH: Sheepherding with Wolves | (En Español)

Sheepherders are one of the most important—and most overlooked—lines of defense against wolf depredation on western rangelands. Most are Spanish-speaking H-2A workers, yet nearly all training materials are only available in English. To address this gap, we spoke with Marcelino, an experienced sheepherder in eastern Oregon who works in wolf country and shares what has worked for him.
