Kurt Holtzen was born in Idaho and is from a homesteading 5th-generation ag family and has been involved in the family cow/calf operation and large sheep range operations. Kurt has been involved in multi-species wildlife conflict mitigation for nearly 30 years from grizzly and black bear in the greater Yellowstone ecosystem to 15 years of wolf/sheep conflict mitigation in Central Idaho and since 2020 he has been involved with helping to prepare Colorado livestock producers for wolf reintroduction
